Leah is a PhD Candidate and Teaching Fellow who has taught in the fields of criminology and criminal law at UNSW since 2015. Her research focus is media construction of criminal trials and what this reveals about power and gender dynamics and the court-media relationship. Her other interests include courts’ responses to the changing media landscape, Indigenous criminal justice issues, sexual assault law reform, drug law reform and legal education.
