
Leonardo Silvestri is Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and co-founder of Zedelef Pty Ltd. He received his degree in Physics from the University of Pisa and a PhD in Materials Science from the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, Italy. His current research includes the development and commercialisation of a novel liquid crystal-based optical transducer, with applications in optical sensing networks, Q-switched lasers and optrode arrays for biopotential recording.
