Nicole-Anne Hickey is a Director and Operations Manager of Daughterly Care Community Services, a not-for-profit charity responsible for providing In-Home Care to those aged individuals living with Dementia in the NSW community. She has held (and still does), a number of positions on Company Boards, has presented at conferences, featured in the Australian Financial Review and appeared on channel 9’s Morning Show.

Prior to joining the Aged Care Industry, Nicole-Anne worked for 2 ASX listed organisations, 5 years as a Business Analyst for IRESS, an International Organisation which provides financial services solutions and 10 years as a Compliance Auditor for Count Wealth Accountants. During her time in both roles compliance, regulation and industry change featured heavily and positioned Nicole-Anne with the skill set needed to move into the now and ever changing industry of Aged Care.

During her tenure in the Aged Care industry, she was solely responsible and proud to implement three major projects:

  • Completion of a constitution and application to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) to obtain a Charity Licence.
  • Converted a private organisation with a turnover in excess of $10M to a Not-For-Profit.
  • Applied for and accredited with My Aged Care to provide Government funding in home care packages of over $600,000 which assists Australians live their life with support at home.

Nicole-Anne is responsible for 270 staff and over 561k hours of care being provided in the community each year.

Thesis Title

Currently in progress… however, with optimism to be of benefit in the Aged Care Industry.
