
Rajini Peguda is an academic (clinical researcher) at the School of Optometry and Vision Science (SOVS), UNSW. She was awarded her PhD in 2018 from the University of New South Wales, for developing a large diameter (LD) lens model to mimic the refractive effects of the orthokeratology treatment by modifying the front surface design of LD lenses. She works with the Research in Orthokeratology group, known for its work with various eye care industry partners in developing and studying innovative contact lens designs/products for refractive error correction. Rajini’s primary interests include contact lenses, myopia control, peripheral refraction, ocular aberrations, and dry eye disease.
Currently, working for various industry research projects to investigate and develop innovative eye care products for the following specialties
