Dr. Sreenivasan obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia in 2012. He completed his first post-doctoral training under the guidance of A/Prof. Brenda Farrell at the Bobby R Alford Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, USA. He returned to Macquarie University in 2013 after being awarded a Macquarie University Research Fellowship to develop novel ruby based photoluminescent nanoparticles for ultrasensitive long term imaging and tracking of GPCRs. Since 2016 his research is supported by the ARC DECRA fellowship. He joined the Single Molecule Science lab at the University of New South Wales in 2017, where his research is more focussed on intracellular molecular interactions that occur upon GPCR activation.
