Dr. Amanda Y Wang MBBS, PhD, FRACP is a Consultant Nephrologist and General Physician with particular expertise and interests in acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, glomerular disease and dialysis. As a nephrologist, she has an appointment at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Ryde Hospital and Northern Beaches Hospital. She also practises privately at Sydney Adventist Hospital.
Dr Wang is a senior research fellow and National Heart Foundation post-doctorate research fellow at the George Institute for Global Health affiliated to the University of New South Wales, participated in a few of international randomised controlled trials and contributed to a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her area of research interests is in acute kidney injury and dialysis therapy.
Dr Wang is a clinical senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales, University of Sydney and Macquarie University. She is also a visiting professor at Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, China and is awarded as a high-level foreign expert by China Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
