25 years experience working in mathematics education, with school leadership in curriculum and assessment as a Head of Faculty and Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning. Pursuing my interest in leadership to improve student educational outcomes, I completed a Masters in Educational Leadership at Macquarie University. In my educational leadership roles, I have seen the importance of the role of quality assessment to provide essential data for evaluating the impact of programs and teaching strategies and the value of quality assessment to improve student learning, I, therefore, completed a Masters of Assessment and Curriculum at the University of NSW. I am pursuing this interest by researching how assessment can enhance learning in mathematics education.
