Sadhbha Cockburn is a former medical student, graduate of the National Art School (BFA Painting and MFA Drawing) and current PhD candidate at UNSW Art and Design. Working across making and writing, her practice examines embodied responses to place. Her current research considers how loss functions as a wound, opening an aperture through which to examine body-place relations and affect as a language of grief and repair.
