My research area is around the home environmental quality and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) among children and adolescents in Australia. This study aimed to identify housing features that adversely impact ADHD from different aspects of the indoor environment, spatial, technical, behavioural, economic, design, neighbourhood, and overall housing.

The results of surveying 435 parents of children aged 5–17 with ADHD in Australia indicated that, for over one in ten children with ADHD, the diagnosis was mainly impacted by the technical factors (15.5%) and indoor environmental quality (13.3%) of a home. Also, IEQ and technical factors were the strongest predictors of the severity of ADHD symptoms (inattention, hyperactivity-impulsivity, and combined ADHD).
