Join our Parents Information Evening to learn how you can support your child on their journey to uni. We'll cover the UAC preferencing and offer process, and your child's transition to uni life and UNSW.

  • Are you interested in a career in medicine? Hear from experts and current students to find out how the Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at UNSW provides the theoretical understanding and practical experiences needed for you to launch your careers as medical professional.

    Get insights into the dynamic blend of hands-on clinical experiences and research-focused learning as a UNSW Medicine student. You’ll also find out detailed information on the application and admissions process for 2025 entry.

Looking to get started on your journey to uni? From summer programs to high school projects, your path to UNSW starts here. Discover resources and programs in your area(s) of interest:

  • Women in Construction Project: Our Women in Construction Project engages young women in high-school, women studying construction in universities and women working in the construction industry, to gain an in-depth understanding of the industry’s diverse job opportunities.

    GERRIC: GERRIC contributes to many aspects of the education and development of gifted students. This includes Mini-COGE Gifted Education workshops for educators, school holiday programs for gifted students, master classes in gifted education and gifted education conferences facilitated by experts in the field.  

  • Playconomics: Playconomics is an online video game that aims to improve students’ understanding of economic concepts and financial literacy by enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life scenarios. Jump onto the platform to find out more!

    Girls in Business Camp: The Girls in Business Camp is designed for female students in Years 10, 11 or 12 who want to explore their future in business. 2024 dates will be opening soon.

  • Women in Engineering: The Women in Engineering (WIE) program aims to encourage high school students to pursue engineering degrees and careers. WIE supports women, non-binary and gender-diverse students to study engineering at UNSW.

  • Student Legal Education Group (SLEG): Founded at UNSW more than 30 years ago, SLEG is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve access to justice by engaging, educating and empowering members of the community, particularly the vulnerable and disadvantaged. Trained UNSW Law & Justice student presenters deliver free-of-charge workshops and seminars, educating program participants on their legal rights in ways that are meaningful and practical to them. 

  • Women in Maths and Science: The School of Mathematics and Statistics runs a Women in Mathematics and Statistics program to support female staff and students and provide them with networking opportunities.

    Do The Maths workshops: Interested in exploring career options in mathematics? The School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW runs an annual series of free, one-day workshops for young women in their final years of high school studies (Years 10-12).

    SciX@UNSW: The SciX@UNSW program is designed to support passionate high school students eager to delve into scientific research. Join one of our research groups and conduct an independent research project, ideal for HSC Extension Science, IB independent projects, or as a taste of a career in research science. 

    CQC²T Work Experience Program: The Centre for Quantum Computation & Communication Technology offers a variety of opportunities for high school students (Years 9-12) to discover quantum computing and quantum communication technologies. From open days to work experience programs, there are many ways to explore these exciting fields of research.

    Chemistry Depth Studies: UNSW's Chemistry Depth Studies aim to engage Year 11 and 12 students in real world research applications of chemistry. The depth studies consist of online lesson plans and resources, suggested assessments and a capstone excursion to the UNSW Chemistry laboratories.

  • The Gateway Program is for students in Years 11 and 12 who want to discover UNSW degree options, explore future career opportunities and access additional resources for the HSC. Participating in the Gateway Program also provides critical support to receive an early offer to UNSW through the Gateway Admission Pathway

  • Inspire your students with our resources for educators. Whether you need publications, curriculum inspiration or insight into the programs available for your students, we’ve got you covered.

  • As a parent, you play an important role in supporting your child to choose the right study path. Access all the essential undergraduate study information at UNSW including key dates, admission pathways, adjustment factors, accommodation options, scholarships, UAC applications and more.
