If you experience any difficulties with creating a login, you should check the following:
- That you are using the correct STUDENT ID as shown on your acknowledgement letter (do not enter the APPLICATION ID).
- That you are using the correct UNSW Program code, as printed on your acknowledgement letter. If you have applied for more than one program, you may have to try creating a login using each one in the order that you put them on your application form.
- That at least one of your applications to UNSW is for a semester sometime in the future (check your latest letter from the Admissions office if you are not sure).
- Check that you filled in your date of birth on your application form. If the University has the wrong record of this, you will not be able to access the tracking system. The letter acknowledging the receipt of your application may indicate that the university does not have a correct record of your date of birth. If this is the case, please email this information to the Admissions Office that is dealing with your application so that they can enable your online access.
If, after checking all of this information, you still experience difficulties creating a login, please contact the Admissions Office dealing with your application.

Duration of access to myUNSW
Applicants will be granted access to their own record for the duration of the relevant admissions period. This means that your access will expire after the start of the term that you applied for admission to, unless you enrol as a new student. In this case, your access will be maintained for as long as you remain a student at UNSW.
However, if all of your applications have been denied or cancelled, your access will be discontinued a few weeks after that decision is made.
