Would you like to join us for Massive Action Sydney?
Massive Action Sydney (MAS) is an initiative to tackle the most urgent issues of our time - the climate emergency, the mental health crisis, issues of equity and inclusion.
MAS at UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture is part of a global movement led visionary designer Bruce Mau and his Massive Change Network.
We would love to work with you on one of the Massive Action projects that are pushing for positive change through Massive Action - at scale and at pace.
The five projects are:
Making Good Media - which asks: What if the media empowered us to combat climate change?
Big Trauma, Big Change asks: What if we radically transformed our approach to mental health?
Caring for Country Leave explores the question: What if you changed your mindset from what you can get to what you can give?
(Daily) Delight Disrupt asks: What if we shifted common sense to support more restorative ways of being?
Re-situ asks the question: What tools do we need to become more responsible designers and changemakers?
We are seeking partners from industry, communities or government who can help us transform these projects into movements that can create the Massive Action we are seeking to achieve.
On 13 March 2024, we invite you to join us for our Massive Action Sydney Unconvention.
This is an occasion for you to learn more about these creative projects and share your expertise, ideas, and potential pathways for collaboration.
Take a look at the short project videos on this website. If one of them - or the Massive Action Sydney movement as a whole - peaks your interest - we would love to meet you and have a conversation at our Unconvention on 13 March 2024.
You can register for the Massive Action Sydney Unconvention through this website, or email us at email@example.com
