Hamed is a PhD candidate at the School of Business, UNSW Canberra. His PhD research commenced in 2020 and focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence in risk management. He has a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from one of the top universities in Iran (University of Tehran). Prior to starting his PhD, Hamed had worked as a research assistant in a couple of different universities in Iran. In addition to his passion for research, Hamed is interested in teaching and interacting with students and have had the opportunity to teach a few different courses as a tutor or lab demonstrator. Outside of academia, he enjoys sports and plays basketball and tennis.
