Miran Jayasinghe

Miran Jayasinghe is a Senior Software Engineer in the School of Systems and Computing at UNSW Canberra, working with the Intelligent Systems for State and Societal Resilience Hub (ISSSRH). He contributes to the design and implementation of scalable, secure backend systems and cloud-native platforms that enhance institutional resilience and support data-informed decision-making.

With over ten years of industry experience, Miran has led the development of complex software solutions across finance, telecommunications, and AI-enabled systems. He specialises in Java-based backend development, microservices, and DevOps practices, with deep expertise in technologies such as Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Miran holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing. He is passionate about applying engineering best practices to real-world challenges and welcomes opportunities for collaboration at the intersection of software, resilience, and societal impact.
