Sam Moloney

Samuel Moloney is a Senior Software Engineer in the Intelligent Systems for State and Societal Resilience Hub (IS4SSR) at UNSW. With over eight years of industry experience, and a background in video game development, graphics programming, and application development, he specialises in building robust, user-focused software across full-stack, visual, and distributed platforms, with a growing focus on applied artificial intelligence.

Motivated by creating meaningful social impact, Samuel works on translating complex technical systems into practical tools that support communities and decision-makers facing societal and environmental challenges.
