Zarish Khan

Zarish Khan is a Software Engineer in the School of Systems and Computing at UNSW Canberra, working with the Intelligent Systems for State and Societal Resilience Hub (ISSSRH). He contributes to the development of full-stack applications and simulation models that support institutional decision-making and societal resilience.

With over two years at UNSW, Zarish specialises in backend and frontend development using tools such as Spring Boot and React. His work spans domains including AI-enabled decision support, capability modelling, and user-focused system design.

He is passionate about applying emerging technologies to deliver practical, impactful solutions—especially in contexts where communities face complex challenges. Zarish is open to collaborations that use software and data-driven tools to support social impact, policy, or operational needs.
