With a background in engineering, his focus spans multiple areas, including the development and evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) applied to electronic medical records (EMR), algorithm implementation on biomedical data, and the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) for enhancing patient safety through web and mobile app interfaces. Additionally, Dr. Chan is involved in hardware design for collecting biomedical data. His method involves constructing comprehensive data pipelines that draw from diverse sources, utilizing advanced algorithms and AI to enhance patient safety. Dr. Chan is committed to collaboration with experts in implementation science and healthcare professionals, aiming to seamlessly integrate and advance technology within clinical practices.
