School of Engineering & IT

Passionate about making our world more liveable? Studying engineering could help you achieve your goals.

ADFA Canberra UNSW

Engineering today for a better tomorrow

The School of Engineering & Information Technology is growing – as such it is splitting into a School of Engineering & Technology, and a School of Systems and Computing. Both schools share the same focus and values – the design and implementation of technology and engineering solutions to meet the challenges of our modern world.

From the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge to space travel and blockchain, engineers and technologists shape the way our world works. As we face global challenges presented by a changing climate, pandemics, geopolitical instability, and disruptive technologies, engineers and technologists will only become more important.

Whether you have an interest in cyber security, infrastructure, hypersonics or AI technologies, we’re empowering the next generation to be creative thinkers, problem solvers and world changers.
