Bio
Olivia joined the Drug Trends team in 2019 as a Research Officer and Northern Territory coordinator for the Ecstasy and Related Drugs Reporting System. Prior to this, she worked in infectious diseases epidemiology at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza, located at the Doherty Institute. Her primary research interest is prevention of infectious disease among key populations, including people who inject drugs. In 2022, Olivia commenced her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Louisa Degenhardt and A/Prof. Amy Peacock, and remains on the Drug Trends team in a part-time capacity.
