About this webinar

There are notable risk factors for harmful alcohol use among conflict-affected forcibly displaced populations such as refugees and internally displaced persons. However, the issue has received limited attention among researchers and humanitarian agencies. This seminar discussed key challenges faced in addressing harmful alcohol use among forcibly displaced populations and then propose some solutions. It also drew upon the experience of an ongoing intervention study to reduce harmful alcohol use among conflict-affected populations in Ukraine and South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.
