The Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS) is a national drug monitoring system intended to identify emerging trends of local and national concern in illicit drug markets, and form part of Drug Trends.
People who inject drugs are at higher risk of infections and blood-borne viruses. Safe injecting practices can help protect against these infections and diseases. This bulletin aims to present the most common injecting practices among a sample of people in Australia who regularly inject illicit drugs.
