Australian Aviation Awards 2025

It was another wonderful night out for the UNSW Aviation team at the 2025 Australian Aviation Awards, held on the 14th August. As principal partner for the awards for the fourth year running, it was fantastic to see the exceptional achievements across the Australian aviation industry, especially the groundbreaking work happening in aeromedical aviation. 

Huge congratulations to everyone on the night including our inaugural Bachelor of Aviation (RPAS) student Joshua Orr who took home RPAS Pilot of the Year! The award was tribute to his passion and dedication to his work at Australian UAV Service / Surf Life Saving NSW – Josh is an outstanding representative of our innovative new Drone program.
