    • To be considered for an offer, applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements as listed on the degree page for the program.

Please note that the published requirements are a guide only, and meeting these requirements does not guarantee an offer will be made. Offers are made to the top-ranked applicants based solely on academic merit, and the number of offers made in each round reflects program capacity.

    • Upon assessment within each offer round, candidates with complete applications will fall into different categories:

      1. The top percentile of applicants will receive an offer of study as part of the offer round, where capacity allows.
      2. Applicants deemed to score outside of the top percentile may remain waitlisted for future offer rounds. Once capacity is reached for a program, all waitlisted applicants will receive either an offer for any alternative program preference that they have included in their UNSW Bengaluru application (if eligible and within the top percentile for such program with capacity) or notification of an unsuccessful application if not eligible for any other preferred program, allowing clarity in their decision-making process.
    • UNSW Bengaluru is unable to provide estimated top percentile scores as these will be based on the quality of applicants within each offer round.

    • The number of offers made during each round will be determined by program capacity. UNSW Bengaluru is unable to share this information with applicants.

    • UNSW Bengaluru reserves the right to make out-of-round offers to exceptional applicants outside of the weekly offer rounds.

Additional offers for UNSW Bengaluru programs may be released after the final offer round for a given term, subject to available capacity and in accordance with key dates leading to the semester's commencement.

    • UNSW Bengaluru offers issued in the first few offer rounds will be conditional upon obtaining the Letter of Commencement (LOC). Conditional offers will also be released based on the confirmation of academic results if your application relied on predicted results, and the receipt of official final Secondary School results (or other final qualification results where applicable) by Friday, 7 August 2026.

    • UNSW has applied for a Letter of Commencement (LOC) from the University Grants Commission of India. Our first few offer rounds will be conditional upon UNSW obtaining the LOC.

Deposits are payable only upon UNSW having received the LOC. Once UNSW receives the LOC, successful applicants will be sent an email with instructions on how to pay the deposit.
