Research within UNSW Bushfire broadly focuses on bushfire behaviour and associated processes.  We have researched and written extensively on topics spanning dynamic fire propagation, extreme bushfire development, critical fire weather events, the mathematical modelling of fire behaviour, bushfire risk at the wildland-urban interface, as well as climate change and fire extremes.
