iOS Guest WiFi guide

Connect your iOS device to eduroam today. It’s the secure, high-speed Wi-Fi network for all UNSW staff and students and works across many universities worldwide.

Step 1

From your home screen, open the Settings app.

Then, select Wi-Fi to open the Wi-Fi Settings page.

Step 2

On the Wi-Fi Settings page, select UNSW Guest.

A pop-up screen will then appear.

Step 3

In the Captive Wi-Fi pop-up screen:

  1. Type your Full Name and Email Address in the fields provided.
  2. Tick the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions.
  3. Tap the Submit.

You will see a welcome screen confirming 10 minutes of temporary access to the UNSW Guest Network.  

You will need to use these 10 minutes of internet access to check your emails for an email from ‘guestwireless@unsw.edu.au’ will be sent to the email address that you entered.

Note: If you cannot find the email from ‘guestwireless@unsw.edu.au’ in your inbox, check your junk or spam folder

Step 4

In the email from ‘guestwireless@unsw.edu.au’, select click here.

You will then be prompted to Confirm or Reject access. Select Confirm.

All done! You have successfully connected to the UNSW Guest WiFi network.
