Instruction steps and images may vary slightly depending on the device version/type. You can check if your device type and operating system supports the Clearpass Onboard Requirements here.

Step 1

Establish an internet connection

If you are connecting on campus, connect to the “UNSW-GetOnline” Wi-Fi network.

Note: Once your device is onboarded, you will need to forget the “UNSW-GetOnline” Wi-Fi network to automatically connect to eduroam when on UNSW campuses.

If you are connecting off campus, ensure that you have a reliable connection to download and install the Wi-Fi certificate.

Step 2

Select your device operating system

Visit the Get Online webpage Get online | UNSW Sydney.

Scroll down and select the Windows tile.

Step 3

Getting to the onboard portal

Select Get online.

Make sure to read the Terms and Conditions carefully. Select I agree, then select Next.

Then select your device type – UNSW managed or non-UNSW managed.

Type in your UNSW credentials and complete MFA when prompted.

Step 4

Download the certificate

On the UNSW Onboard Page, select Start QuickConnect

Step 5

Installing the certificate

Click to run and start the installation of the ArubaQuickConnect onboard wizard.
