Artist statement

‘The Book of Nix’ is a series of coloured pencil drawings depicting the story of the creature Nix. In Chapter One, the  drawing expanded across the concertina, portraying the different paths Nix took when he split himself into the moon and the mountain. These paths are compartmentalised into portraits. The work seeks to dismantle  the distinction between reality and fiction, documenting Nix’s story according to how it is remembered and represented.
