We've collated all the essential information you need to know about undergraduate study at UNSW including key dates, admission pathways, adjustment factors, accommodation options, scholarships, UAC applications, upcoming events and more. 

Key application dates

All undergraduate applications are processed by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

  • 30 September 2024: UAC early bird applications close
  • 18 December 2024: ATARs are released
  • 11:59pm 18 December 2024: Preferences deadline for UAC's December Round 2 (our first major offer round)
  • 23 December 2024: Offers are released for December Round 2 - students will only receive one offer in each offer round
  • 2 January 2025: Preferences deadline for January Round 1
  • 9 January 2025: Offers are released for January Round 1

  • HSC Plus

    HSC Plus rewards your child with up to five points for performing well in HSC subjects that are relevant to a UNSW degree.

    Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders (EAPL) Program 

    The EAPL Program awards up to five points to high school leavers who have excelled in areas of sport, academia, leadership, and/or music at an elite level. Activities and/or commitments must have been undertaken in Years 11 and/or 12.
