Artist statement

Hung Out to Dry documents the personal sexual relations of a queer experience through drawings of my previous sexual partners’ underwear. Displayed in the form of a clothesline, the installation was created using grayscale graphic markers on paper, then cut around each piece individually. The work promotes the exposure of a rather queer human narrative and comments on experimentation, regret and the unknown, all that which contributed to the formation of my own sexual identity.
