I interviewed many friends about their most impressive or interesting dreams, and despite their diverse backgrounds, personalities, and lives, I noticed there are always similarities in their dreams. This reminded me of the metaphor of water: just as we all originate from water, our consciousness, through dreams, seems to reconnect with a shared, deep, unconscious ocean. In a time where meaningful conversation is lacking and contradictions are growing, these dreams serve as a powerful reminder of our shared human experience beyond individual identities. Through this video, I aim to recreate a dream-like experience for audience where our consciousness can once again bond with others. Surrealism emphasises experience rather than identity, imagination rather than perception, doing and becoming rather than just being. I tried to apply surrealism approach to construct an unconscious dream world using the material I obtained from the interviews and expand it with unbounded imagination.
