ARTIST STATEMENT

Set against the backdrop of Cold War-era nuclear threats, this multifunctional survival unit—Multifunctional Life Box—is designed to ensure human survival in a post-apocalyptic world. Inspired by the visual and conceptual style of the game Metro Exodus, the life box integrates essential survival tools, including a thermometer, telescope, radio, multifunctional display screen, Geiger counter, and lead-lined, radiation-proof casing. Each component is modular and fully functional, allowing for easy maintenance and adaptability in harsh conditions. The internal wiring is neatly organised, emphasising efficiency and clarity in design.
