ARTIST STATEMENT

As a part of my real-time studio project, I worked on creating a library with a fantasy and mystical theme. I took inspiration from different dioramas created by Eugenio Galdeano. [My work is] a cinematic exploration of the library, which creates a focus on a mysterious painting placed on one of the walls. My intention was to create a diorama that gives a grand and intimate feeling, which holds a secret in every place. The lighting for the outside atmosphere is dark, and the place is mostly lit up from inside with warm lighting.

ARTIST INTRODUCTION

I am an animation and visual effects artist. My creative process starts with sketching out simple ideas and then researching deeply into the idea I want to move forward with. Having worked on graphic design and animation projects, I try to approach my artwork with skills from both fields, experimenting with design principles, lighting and texture. Ultimately, my goal is to create art that resonates with viewers and have them feel the emotion that I am trying to portray.
