ARTIST STATEMENT

This project aims to create an interactive virtual environment anchored in strong visual storytelling and immersive gameplay, supported by built-in traversal mechanics and real-time environment feedback. The scope of the level is framed around a central hub that connects different sections of a research facility. This hub functions as both a narrative anchor and a testbed for interaction, enabling the implementation of mechanics such as parkour traversal, reward collection and object inspection. The result is a functional and responsive virtual space that allows players to actively navigate, interact and uncover meaning. As they progress, ambient elements are dynamically triggered to reinforce tone, theme and atmosphere, while inspected items provide narrative context and foreshadow critical events within the broader storyline.

ARTIST INTRODUCTION

I am a digital designer specializing in 3D environment design, VFX compositing and simulation. My practice is driven by a passion for creative direction and storytelling through digital media, with a focus on crafting visually compelling and emotionally engaging experiences.
