Artwork Title: The Cat's Respite

When tasked with creating a 3D environment, making a jazz club was what struck me first. As a novice 3D modeller, I wanted to create something that could challenge me, but more importantly I just more motivated by the idea of creating a place I found appealing. My intent was to create a jazz club that could facilitate a lively, jovial atmosphere while at the same time evoke a sense of class, sophistication and relaxation worthy of the name “The Cat’s Respite.” The creation of the process entailed me going through the 3D pipeline, as I gathered data and references for my previsualisation, modelled my objects, textured them, rendered them and did everything else in-between. While my early work may be a bit rough around the edges, it was certainly something that I enjoyed making and I hope you enjoy it too.

Hi there! I’m Victor, a student currently undertaking a degree of Computer Science & Media Arts, with my disciplines as 3D visualisation and animation. I am down to chat about anything pop culture related, whether it be about movies, TV shows, video games or anything else, so if you see me, I’d be glad if you said hi!
