Artwork title: The Editor

This three-minutes moving image work exerts desktop film to record an unpredictable narrative story of a human editor assigned by his/her boss to test the feasibility of AI video generator whether can produce trendy video content. This project explores the relationship between humanity and technology under the current anti-AI-recruiting background in art industries, slickly teasing about the resistance of AI recruiting and implying the ecosystem in art industries controlled by capitalism’s power. This work process including mainly digital production including screen recording, graphic design, motion graphic animation, AI sound production, and video editing.

Hello, I'm Yifan Li, a Media Art Artist specializing in moving image and sound production. Through narrative and experimental storytelling, I blur the lines between reality and imagination, immersing audience into visual journeys that provoke thought and emotion. Now, I switch my main focus into the world of virtual reality. Embracing cutting-edge technologies, I craft immersive experiences that empower participants to become active players in the narrative with proper self-produced visual and audio components.
