Jia Zhang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Translation and a Master of Translation and Interpreting degree in English-Chinese Interpreting. He worked as a lecturer of Translation at Sun Yat-sen University from 2012 to 2018 and a lecturer of Applied Translation Studies at Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College from 2018 to 2022. Jia Zhang is a certified translator (Chinese into English & English into Chinese) accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI), and a level II interpreter and level II translator accredited by the China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI). He has over 15 years of professional experience in the language service industry. His research interests include translation technology, translator training and audiovisual translation, and his current research focuses on integrating machine translation into translator training.
