The Museum of Contemporary Art’s National Centre for Creative Learning commissions an artist every year for their Jackson Bella Room.

Artist collective Brown Council, made up of UNSW Art & Design graduates Frances Barrett, Kate Blackmore, Kelly Doley and Diana Smith were commissioned for 2014.

Brown Council created Performance Art, a work that transforms the space into an immersive and interactive performance ‘funhouse’ designed to be both accessible and stimulating for young people with specific needs.

It encourages viewers to become performers and collaborators in the production of the work and explores the creative possibilities of simple body based actions.
