Whether you're planning your studies or just looking for a fun family day out, there's plenty on the schedule.
Here are just a few of the highlights:
Meet the Army Parachute Display Team (Red Berets) and watch a parachute packing demonstration.
1055-1130 and 1355-1420 - Concourse. Watch the team exit the aircraft on the Parade Ground from 1035 and 1335.

A space set aside from the hustle, bustle, and noise of Open Day for families to stop and relax. Located on level 2 of the library behind the parent’s room, the Family Lounge will feature spaces to sit, stretch out, and activities for younger children.

Watch ADFA’s midshipmen and officer cadets demonstrate the fundamentals of strength training in the ADF.
1400-1420 - in front of Academy Cadets Mess.
Military Police Dogs play an important role in support of ADF operations. These specialist dogs provide detection, deterrence and the ability to be used to apprehend persons targeted by the Military Police. Watch a demonstration of this capability in partnership with their handlers.
1055-1115 and 1420-1445 - Parade Ground.
Watch an exciting display of Navy Clearance Divers fast rope from a helicopter, a technique faster than abseiling. A spectacular sight not to be missed.
1450-1500 - Parade Ground.
Learn how Midshipmen and Officer Cadets use their technical, management and leadership skills to design, build, test and race a Formula SAE racing car. This project requires goals to be set, goals to be translated into specifications, and then designs to be developed against those specifications. The designs are realised to create a fully functional racing car.

8. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) display
On display in the ADFA Gym are examples of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) developed by staff and students at UNSW Canberra. Members of the team, which is primarily made up of Midshipmen, Officer Cadets and Advanced Students will be available to answer questions.

Military historians Dr Bob Hall and Mr Derrill de Heer demonstrate a cutting edge website showing the combat operations of the 1st Australian Task Force in Vietnam.

Visitors can view unique and extraordinary materials collected by the University in a curated display celebrating the 250th anniversary of the births of Wellington and Napoleon.
