QS has named AGSM @ UNSW Business School – Australia's leading graduate school of management – among the “Global Elite”in its latest QS Global 250 Business Schools 2017 Report.
AGSM is one of 45 institutions ranked in the report's Global Elite Quadrant, which recognises schools that score above top-tier thresholds for both research and employability.
The report evaluates the top 250 full-time MBA programs across 36 countries and is based on the findings of two global surveys: a survey of international employers who hire MBA graduates; and a survey of academics with expertise in the fields of business and management.
Professor Julie Cogin, Director of the AGSM and Deputy Dean of the UNSW Business School, said the results reflected the ongoing excellence of AGSM’s alumni community.
“Global employability and mobility of our MBA graduates has been a priority over the last few years and we have taken stock to ensure we provide not only an academically rigorous program but world-class graduates who are part of a strong global network.
“This result is very encouraging and demonstrates that despite the competitive market, the reputation and relevance of our full-time program remains very strong internationally,” she said.
Since the early 1990s, QS has produced a list of top global business schools for full-time MBA study.
The 2017 Global 250 Business School results were compiled from 12,125 MBA employers over five years, which is the largest MBA employer survey ever conducted, and 76,798 academics over five years, of which 8,376 are experts in the fields of business and management.
