She is highly experienced in the management and analysis of large and complex datasets, and well versed in the application of statistical methods to examine longitudinal data; exploring temporal trends in the use of devices; survival and competing risk analyses for temporal outcomes; propensity score methods for estimating treatment effects. Dr Sotade’s early career has seen her working across epidemiological studies, intervention-based evaluations, working with government agencies and private industry to provide evidence-based research. As a data scientist, she is interested in innovative approaches to quantifying and exploring the use and outcomes associated with medical devices, and translating findings to wider audiences.
