At the Centre for Big Data Research in Health (CBDRH), we undertake research to understand how digital approaches can best be applied in clinical- and consumer-facing applications. We have extensive experience partnering with consumer, clinical, industry, and other sector organisations to understand the acceptability and effectiveness of digital health approaches.

We have expertise in:

  1. Objective measures of the quality and safety of digital interventions, and assessing clinical and governance risks in emerging health technologies.
  2. Using novel non-clinical data sources to understand patterns and trajectories of health outcomes.
  3. Community-based and clinical trials of digital health interventions.
  4. Consumer and lived experience engagement to understand attitudes, needs, and preferences related to digital health interventions.
  5. Industry and sector partnerships to evaluate real-world evidence.
