I am PhD candidate with the ultimate goal of combining my love of plants and adventuring. Catch me in the garden, out in the bush or up a rock somewhere (…and I guess behind a computer every now and again!)
Supervised by: Mark Ooi, Will Cornwell, Chantelle Doyle, and Jason Bragg (BGS)
Project Title: Plant conservation in difficult to access locations.
Project Description: This project includes looking at the spatial bias in research and records, investigating what is missed when we don't sample from difficult to access locations, the involvement of the outdoor adventure community in remote area citizen science, and the creation of genetically province ex-situ collections of plants. This research is in collaboration with the Botanic Gardens of Sydney and Threatened Rare Endemic Plant Research Group (UNSW). https://www.unsw.edu.au/research/ecosystem/our-research/terrestrial-ecosystems/TRE-Plant-Researc-Group
