Grace is a PhD candidate in the Applied Marine and Estuarine Ecology Lab (AMEE). Having completed both her undergraduate degree and honours at UNSW, Grace has experience in statistical analysis, experimental design, materials science, ecology and social ecology. Grace is most passionate about creating collaborative human solutions to sustainability problems.

Project: Social ecological systems approach to managing marine debris

Project Description: Grace's research is focused on exploring and strengthening stakeholder networks across Australia to manage marine debris. This includes engaging with Government, citizen scientists, not-for-profit organisations, First Nations Rangers and consumers. Grace believes a collaborative approach is the key to managing the marine debris crisis in Australia.
