Dr Carmen Crespo
PhD, MPharm
I am a Senior Research Associate within the Population Child Health Research Group at the University of New South Wales. My work focuses on child health services research and implementation science, with a strong emphasis on designing, implementing, and evaluating integrated models of care across primary, community, and hospital settings.
In recent years, my research has centred on optimising the implementation of paediatric models of care, with the primary goal of improving equity and access to services for children and families. I currently manage the Healthy Beginnings Project, which involves co-designing and implementing an early intervention program within early childhood settings in areas of need.
I am particularly interested in how evidence-based interventions can be effectively translated into real-world settings to achieve meaningful and sustainable impact.
