Dr. Chengpei Xu is a Postdoc Fellow at the Mine Internet of Things and Indoor Positioning (MIoT & IPIN) Lab, MERE, University of New South Wales, Sydney.

He received his Bachelor's degree in System Engineering from NUDT, China, Master's degree in Information Technology from University of New South Wales (UNSW), and Ph.D. degree in Computing Sciences and Engineering from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2022.

His research contributes to various areas including multimedia content understanding, scene text detection and recognition, 2D/3D arbitrarily shaped and rotated object localization, low-light visual enhancement, and multimodal fusion.
