Lisa is a PhD candidate and casual academic at UNSW Business School's School of Management and Governance. She holds a BPharm from the University of Otago, a Master of Management from Massey University, and a Master of Pre-Doctoral Business Studies from UNSW.

Lisa's research focuses on leadership and charisma, with particular interest in interventions that enhance individual charisma and leadership abilities. Additionally, she is interested in areas such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), motivation, personality, healthcare leadership, and evidence-based management.

Before her academic career, Lisa worked as a project manager in national and international standards development across various sectors, including Data, Artificial Intelligence, Health, Workplace Safety, Construction, and Energy. She is also a fully qualified pharmacist and has more than five years of experience working in community, medical center, and aged-care pharmacy services.
