Dr Tessa Helman is a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA). She received her PhD, investigating the sex-specific mechanisms of modern psychological stress-related diseases, from Griffith University (QLD, Australia) in 2022. She is interested in understanding the factors that contribute to normal cognitive ageing and development of age-related diseases including Alzheimer’s disease, in order to promote healthy ageing and prolong wellness in older age groups.
