Accelerator Grants
Accelerator Grants are designed to deepen high-impact international research collaborations with selected partner institutions. Calls are generally focussed on shared areas of interest, with an intention to creating real-world impact and building sustainable partnerships that can attract future sustainable funding.

The UNSW–Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Accelerator Grant supports early-stage collaborative research projects that establish or strengthen partnerships between UNSW and IISc, with the potential to deliver real-world impact and attract larger external funding.
Applications must align with one of the following priority themes:
- Climate Resilience: Clean Energy Systems, Water Security and Sustainable Cities
- Critical Minerals, Advanced Materials and Circular Manufacturing
- Responsible AI, Quantum and Secure Digital Infrastructure
- Health and Biomedical Engineering
A maximum of AUD $10,000 from UNSW and INR 5.0 Lakhs from IISc is available for each successful project.
