TEDI-London: 2024 Winter School students working on real-world challenges

Four teams of curious and creative UNSW students returned recently from the TEDI-London 2024 winter school. Their time at TEDI-London culminated with a showcase day, which gave each team the opportunity to present their ideas and prototypes for the processing of urban timber to their peers, industry partners and TEDI-London staff and students.

TEDI-London Summer School
TEDI-London hosted their first in person summer school since the pandemic started. 20 UNSW students from six faculties and UNSW’s Prof Stephen Loo flew to the UK to participate in the TEDI-London Summer School 2022 - a cross-cultural and multidisciplinary learning experience to explore the potential of urban farming to foster resilient cities.

Transforming Women’s Leadership Pathways
Women are still in the minority amongst CEOs, professors and political leaders – to address this the PLuS Alliance between ASU, King’s College London, and UNSW Sydney started the Transforming Women’s Leadership Pathways (TWLP) initiative, including a Knowledge Hub of resources on Leadership Training, research opportunities and more.
