Emma Silwanis (she/her) is a Chinese-Egyptian artist living and working on unceded Wangal and Gadigal land. Working primarily with moving image, photo, and sound, she explores the intersection of cultures, traditions and practices. She draws upon her emotional responses that arise from reflecting on personal lived experiences and collective memories. She hopes to connect with people through her work.
